Relieve your stress and destroy stuff

Demolition is a paid sandbox action game that lets you build and destroy stuff. In this building and explosives simulator from khos85, you can relieve your real-world stress without causing any real-world hurt or damage. You’re tasked to plant bombs in strategic locations to cause maximum damage to structures.

In its premise, Demolition shares a few similarities with the voxel-based Teardown. However, its mix of monochromatic and outlined elements with colored background elements creates a unique visual feel – one that reminds players that they’re in a specialized location where they can demolish to their heart’s content.

Destroy areas to open more

While Demolition is points-based, you’re actually free to do as you please. If you want to play just to blow things up, go ahead. If you’re looking for some sort of objective, you can build up points that can be used to unlock additional stages. Although it's simple and fun, players looking for more realism will find the design style lacking since items are mostly presented in simplified, outlined designs.

The game employs realistic physics in terms of the interaction between objects as well as the behavior of the explosion. Be careful of being caught in blasts, fires, or flying debris as they can damage your health. There are other unique features to make explosions more dramatic such as a Slomo feature and a Rewind, which turns back events in the game at the cost of points.

Also, there are different game modes: Normal, Timed, and Block. With Normal mode, you’re free to do as you wish, with no limits on time, objects, and weapons. For Timed, you only have three minutes to earn as much score as you can. In Block, all weapons work only on cubes and not on any other structures. Both Block and Timed have a score multiplier of x4.

Steady stress-reliever

With its virtual feel, an assortment of explosives and weapons strategies, and different game modes to choose from, Demolition is a good break from the stress of daily living. If you need to vent out without having to cause real damage, blowing things up in this game is a great option. Of course, its art style caters to a certain feel and comes across as lacking for players wanting more realism.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.
